Artistic Skylight History Timeline

1998

Commercial Installations

Artistic Skylight® is quickly becoming a reputable brand for skylights and daylighting products. With much more to offer than our mighty manufacturing capabilities, 1998 marked our first year of officially offering our commercial installation services so that a all-in-one turnkey solution could be provided to our customer base. To this day, this service is highly sought after as skylight installs are a very tricky, detailed part of the roofing system, and has serious implications if not completed properly. All staff members are employed by Artistic Skylight® and never subcontracted.

2005

Adaptation of AutoCAD

With hand-drawn shop drawings and personal computing becoming the norm, the implementation of computer-aided design was a critical tipping point in scaling business and project efficiency. The company started taking advantage of software such as AutoCAD, Fusion, SolidWorks and other various rendering software. This allowed for full technical skylight drawings to be drafted quickly and be provided to our customers for added clarity. Today, fully detailed shop drawings are provided with every large-scale project for accuracy and accountability.
