Artistic Skylights is raising a toast to 2022. While not without its challenges, this past year has presented us with opportunities to continue growing, learning, and innovating thanks to the support of our fantastic team, customers, and industry partners.

“2022 certainly wasn’t easy, but we’re fortunate to be surrounded by people who keep us at the top of our game,” says Marco Ferrazzo, a manager with Artistic Skylights.

The last 12 months have also been a time for sharing Artistic Skylights’ industry knowledge. Through this blog, we’ve explored a wide range of topics from skylight design to rooftop safety, winter maintenance to industry trends, and beyond.

“We’re fortunate to have been in this industry for so long and to have worked with a great variety of clients. That’s why we welcome any chance to pass on the insights we’ve picked up along the way,” adds Ferrazzo.

Artistic Skylights’ blogs have tackled many topics over 2022, but some of the most popular blogs have focused on best practices surrounding skylight materials, glazing, and installation.

In case you missed one, here are some of the highlights:

  1. Powder coating vs. anodizing – Understanding your skylight finishing options:  A comparison of skylight finishing in regards to cost, application, protection, aesthetics, and repairs.
  2. Duel glazed vs. triple glazed – Don’t glaze over your options choosing a skylight: A look at all the factors to consider when selecting between two of the most common skylight glazing options.
  3. Options with acrylic glazing: A review of what to look for when selecting acrylic glazings, such as visible light transfer, U-Value, and solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC).
  4. Installing curb mount skylights: A discussion of why PVC foam gaskets offer advantages over the silicone alternative.

These are only a sample of the blogs you can find in Artistic Skylights’ archive. We welcome you to catch up on 2022’s topics as we return this new year for many more.

In the meantime, we hope you had a warm, safe, and uplifting holiday season.
